About Us

Justin & Brooke Ulmer
Justin & Brooke Ulmer were married in 2006 and have three children together. They began their marriage serving overseas, and upon their return from the mission field were invited to serve in the student ministry of their local church. Over the years their ministry would grow from 50 students to 550 as they worked to develop a community devoted to loving God and each other, with a significant emphasis on embracing our identity and purpose in Jesus Christ.
In early 2020, after seven fruitful years ministering to the teens and families of Montgomery County, Justin & Brooke were invited by their senior pastor to plant a church that embodied the successful pattern of teaching which they had cultivated with their students. After prayerful consideration, they felt called by God to accept the invitation and by year’s end, Little Flock Church was born.
Little Flock Church consists of a growing community of house churches based in Conroe, Texas. Our mission as a church is three-fold:
To be loved by God.
To love God and each other.
To make God’s love known.
Justin & Brooke remain devoted to discovering who God is and who he created us to be, and would love for you consider joining them on this journey.
Our Name
Little Flock Church comes from Luke 12:31-32, where we see Jesus encourage his disciples with this word:
Luke 12:31-32
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.”

Our Mission
The reason we exist as a church is to be loved, to love, and to make love known. This statement comes from John 13:34-35, where Jesus commands his disciples:
John 13:34-35
“Behold, I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Our Vision
Our goal as a church is simple. We want to understand who God is and who he created us to be. We do this by reading God’s word, and doing what it says – together.
James 1:22-25
Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and immediately forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

To hear and obey God’s Word together.

Our Philosophy Of Ministry
Our philosophy of ministry is built on the premise that we are all broken people, and we all need a Savior. This understanding comes from Matthew 5:3.
Matthew 5:3
God blesses those who are broken and who realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Your brokenness is welcome here.
